For three decades, IEHP has had the honor of caring for our communities and growing alongside the people we serve. What began in 1996 with 60,000 members has become a vibrant community of 1.4 million people who trust us with their health. Across the nation, IEHP is one of the top five largest Medicaid health plans and the largest publicly operated Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (for those with both Medicare and Medicaid). IEHP is also the lowest-cost Silver plan in the region for Covered California.

Over the years, we’ve added more services, opened Community Wellness Centers (CWCs), grown our team and made it easier for our members to get high-quality care. Every milestone reflects something bigger: the lives we’ve touched, the families we’ve supported and the communities we’re proud to serve.

As we celebrate 30 years, our mission to heal and inspire the human spirit shines brighter than ever. And we’re just getting started.
