Teeth. We’ve all got them.

Covering Your Health and host Evelyn Erives dive into the importance of starting oral hygiene at a young age with Scott McGrath, deputy of systems and impact for First 5 San Bernardino.

Since 1998, First 5 San Bernardino has supported families with children of all ages, serving as a bridge to share the importance of early development from the prenatal stage to five years of age through campaigns like its recent “Little Teeth, Big Responsibility” campaign.

In San Bernardino County alone, 60% of children of kindergarten age experience tooth decay, but it’s preventable by teaching youth the importance of good oral hygiene habits and keeping up with your twice-a-year visits to the dentist.
