A big part of keeping your child healthy is getting the right screenings, vaccines and wellness visits. We know how stressful it can be to manage all the visits needed.

To help, here are some details on what to expect in the coming years.

How do I know if my child is developing properly?

Skills like taking a first step or smiling for the first time are called developmental milestones. Developmental screenings can tell you if your child is hitting key milestones for their age. We offer no-cost developmental screenings to children from birth up to five years old. This is the age range when a child’s brain grows the fastest.

The Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3) is a screening that helps parents look at the growth and development of their child across five areas:

  • Communication
  • Gross motor
  • Fine motor
  • Problem-solving
  • Personal-social

To get a developmental screening for your child, please email us at screening@iehp.org.
